1.18.21 Motivational Monday

It’s Monday! You know what that means! Here's the scripture for this week: Luke 6:46-49 What’s a house with no foundation? What’s an organ system without majority of the functioning organs? What’s intelligence with no brain? What is existence, without God? That’s one thing that I never want to find out. This scripture reminds us that we can call on God all day and refer to him as Jehovah jireh, our Father, our savior, Abba, etc. But does any of that really matter if we’re not incorporating Him into our daily lives? Does any of that really matter if we’re not solely depending on Him? Does it really matter if we’re not allowing His will to be done? I mean life is good, but shouldn’t we strive for greatness and allow It to be steered by God? Verse 47 basically says “I will show you what it’s like when someone comes to me, listens to my teaching, and then follows it.” This HAS to happen cohesively. We cannot do one portion of this and not the other, then expect impactful results. Today I challenge you to not only dig into the word and stand on it, but I challenge you to seek, digest and then implement God’s teaching in your everyday life. When we are weak, He will provide strength. When we are lost, He will come find us. When we lack, He will provide abundantly. God is present and waiting for you and guess what? He will meet you right where you are. Don’t spend another day trying to navigate through life on your own when you have a Father who is ready, capable and willing to provide, protect and support you.
