1.25.21 Motivational Monday

Can y’all believe it’s the LAST Monday of this month? Time is flying, but we’re here and still going strong! So I was studying the book of Exodus and it wasn’t a specific scripture that stood out to me this time, it was the entire chapter 4! For some reason, chapters 3 & 4 REALLY resonated with me. Long story short—in chapter 3, God gets Moses’ attention with a burning bush and appoints him for kingdom business to lead the Israelites out of Egypt. In chapter 4 (and a little of chapter 3) we see Moses complaining about his inability to get this done. He keeps telling God to choose someone else. I’m reading and thinking to myself: “Moses baby it’s you! You can’t get out of this one!” And if you deep dive into the chapter, you’ll learn about all of the signs that God gave Moses to give to the people in order to reassure them that he has been sent by the Father. I started to ponder and I asked myself: “what signs have I missed from the Lord about my life or decisions I need to make?” God has done so many things to show us that He is a living God and that there’s nothing He can’t do. He’ll send signs to give you direction, to give you clarity, to give you discernment (these can be red flags to save you) and to give you assignment! Are we paying attention? Are our minds and gates free from distraction so that we can clearly see the signs? Are we paying attention to DETAIL so that we can get the WHOLE sign from God and not just half of it? You don’t have to answer these questions directly, but hopefully it gave you some things to think about because now I know that I have some work to do! This week, let’s
