1.31.22 Motivational Monday

Good morning! I got into this word about wilderness and I wanted to share some interesting points I got from it! Wilderness is defined as an “uncultivated, uninhibited, and inhospitable region.” The way I see it, we can get so down, doubtful and stressed when things began to manifest in our lives and we don’t know why because it wasn’t apart of our plan. Not God’s plan, but the one that we created for ourselves. (ha!) We can get so caught up in the weeds of everything, that we forget that we’re in the forest (wilderness). It’s a whole forest out there, waiting for us to maneuver through and we’re stuck with our heads in the weeds. In this case, weeds symbolize the unexpected, the misunderstood, the struggle, the stress, etc-anything that you’re going through that makes you feel like you’ve fallen from God’s grace. But have you ever thought that maybe God has placed you in the wilderness for a reason? By being in the wilderness, all you have time to do is SURVIVE, you don’t have time to watch anybody living their best life or reaching goals that you feel you should’ve reached by now. Maybe God placed you in the wilderness so that you could THRIVE because no one can do it like YOU! Sometimes God places us in the wilderness because even though it’s not where you want to be, it’s a place where you can GROW. Who you become in the wilderness will determine how effective Satan can be in your life once you escape the forest. In this situation, strength isn’t about how you survive, but how you surrender in the wilderness that God has you in. So go through it, but grow through and trust that God is always working for your good. I am so happy being wild! Have a blessed day y’all!
