2.15.21 Motivational Monday

Happy Monday kingdom people! The scripture for today is James 4:7: “Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will run away from you.” When I read this scripture in the past, I simply thought about staying away from doing evil. But “resisting the devil” could also mean: resisting his tricks, resisting his attacks and resisting believing when he speaks to our minds and tells us the opposite of what God thinks about us. Sometimes this can be easier said than done, but there is power in doing this! You have to be an impenetrable wall to the enemy and every time he throws a rock (attack) at you, it bounces back off because you cover yourself with God’s words, promises and in His strength. In due time, the enemy will see that he has no win when it comes to you and he’s wasting his time. He will surely have to find someone else to devour and prey on. He will return, but if you continue to submit to God’s word and His instructions..the enemy will find himself running from you before he can even initiate round 2. This week, keep submitting and serving God. Stay focused on Him! Let the enemy do the sweating and you stay in God’s face, open and ready to receive what HE says is next for you.
