9.6.21 Motivational Monday

What's up y'all?! I know that today is Labor Day, but what does that have to do with the word of God, lol? I wanted to give you some things to think about for this week, because after listening to a particular word this morning--I have some things to reflect on. The word was around FOCUS. The pastor really challenged all listeners to think about who and what has caused them to lack focus. He asked the listeners how many times have we WATCHED what we should've been WITNESSING but instead we missed out because of a distraction? What really stuck with me is the idea that "distractions lead to disappointments". You'll find yourself disappointed when you look at other people and see them doing something that you were (also) called to do or getting something that you too, desire. We have to exchange that potential disappointment for focus to not only get what God has for us, but to hear His voice clearly and understand HIS plan. Overall, the message to me was: the things that you are focused on or should be focused on, may not be what GOD needs you focused on. Only you can tap in with the Father and check yourself to see if you are aligned. There were so many gems in the message. If any of this resonated with you, check out the full message!
